I never watch the Emmy Awards for fashion tips, as television stars have notoriously bad taste in clothing off the small screen, but last night's Emmys actually had some good fashion moments. For instance:
Heidi Klum looked gorge in this asymmetrical Armani Prive dress. Usually I'm not too big on the asymmetrical look, but Heidi is so statuesque that she can pull it off. I love the muted gray color of this gound. Something about it screams old school late 70s Hollywood "Cher" to me.
Angelic Emilie de Ravin knocks it out of the park in this beautiful Matthew Williamson gown. Love the blue color of the dress and how well it pairs with her blue eyes. The gold detailing at the neck and waist of this gown are beautiful as well.
Sandra Oh looks lovely in this classy Oscar de la Renta dress. I love the sexy peekaboo lace of the bodice. Her vintage movie star hair is gorgeous.
But no awards ceremony is complete without the one post-op hot tranny mess. Brooke Shields looks like Barbie gone terribly wrong in this Badgley Mischka um, concoction. Beautiful woman, atrocious dress. It's so bad it's almost good - except not quite, because it's still horrible.
