I definitely did not look like this when I was 14. I looked like a big dork with no fashion sense.
Taylor Momsen, of Gossip Girl fame (duh) is literally the oldest looking 14-year-old I've ever seen in my life. These are a few of her most recent photos, published in Crash magazine. She's definitely been getting her model on, ever since signing with IMG. She may look really old, but in some ways, she is your typical 14-year-old. I've been watching Taylor's transformation from sweet teenage girl to scary teenage girl, and I'm waiting for her stint in rehab. I mean - we've all been there. Whether it's stealing your parents booze and dying your hair purple with Manic Panic, or sneaking out at night to hang out with your older boyfriend, or - in Taylor's case - acting scarily older than your years...
...that said, I think she's a really talented actress. Lil J is the best character on Gossip Girl by far. And Taylor M will probably not go to rehab. I hope. She's definitely doing her own thing and I admire the progression of her career. Child stars are more interesting when they do things like take modeling contracts and go out every night (LLo). The last thing we need is another Natalie Portman figure... SNORE!
